Extra light main strings Six string acoustic steel string guitar with the addition of sympathetic strings running inside the body of the guitar and through a hollow neck, allowing the instrument to be played like a normal guitar.  Once tuned to the desired pitches, the sympathetic strings sing along when the notes are played on the main strings, creating a rich, magical accompaniment. Kohekohe 2000 year old swamp wood Kohekohe swamp wood dug out of Waihopai river swamp (Blenheim, NZ) and carbon dated at 2000 years old.  Trees discovered in swamp still standing and burnt as a result of forest fire. I have a good supply of this swamp wood remaining. Sympathetic strings exit above main string nut through hollow neck.   Access to tuning sympathetic strings is provided between the two nuts. Gotoh machine heads.
