2000 year old swamp wood - Kaikawaka Made entirely from 2000 year old swamp wood, dug out of the Waihopai swamp (near Blenheim, South Island). The trees were found still standing and had been burnt by a forest fire. The wood inside is perfect and much darker than normal. | 2000 year old swamp wood (Totara) I have enough of this swamp wood Kaikawaka (NZ Cedar) and Totara to make around 10 instruments.
